AUTS: Going on a Smoothie Diet

Hi guys, sorry for being away for a few days, I was on vacation with my boyfriend's family. I'll be blogging about it once I get the complete copy of the pictures. :p But for now, I wanted to share to you the beginning of my smoothie diet.

I get my excess belly fat through rice. When I was in college, I normally eat two cups of rice per meal and three cups of rice when my meal goes with a nice hot Sinigang soup on the side like in Mang Inasal. That's why I love Mang Inasal because of the soup. Kayo rin ba? Haha! That time I don't get fat fast because I burn what I eat by studying from morning til late night. But when I was working, I felt my tummy started to show some excess fat because I don't normally walk and I lessen the workouts because I felt stressed at work so when I have time to rest during weekends, I just sit at home and relax. Haha! Ibang-iba na talaga ang lifestyle when you start working. Kung may time saka na maiisipan magworkout especially kapag wala kang kasama to go to the gym or someone you can run with.

Now, it's summer saka ko lang naisip maglose ng excess belly fats. Gusto ko lang mawala siya because I have so many summer galas to go - going to Coron with family, going to Bali with friends and going to Bora with Rhy and that is if matuloy ang lahat. If not, it's okay at least it would be good to burn those fats so I'm trying this smoothie diet. Tamad kasi akong kumain ng fruits kapag hindi siya nakashake so the smoothie diet is great for me. To have company, I asked my boyfriend to try this diet with me so we can both benefit from it.

My first day of smoothie diet was not that intense. I skipped breakfast because I slept until 12 noon today. Kulang na kulang kasi ako sa pahinga because of the vacation so I really grabbed some rest when I got home. We had lunch at Chicken Inasal but I still ate rice but only half then paired with a stick of Chicken Liver then Ensaladang Talong with Bagoong and a glass of lemonade. When we got home this afternoon I tried this Mango Orange Smoothie for my dinner. No rice na ako tonight then tomorrow we'll start with our running exercise every morning. Jusko kung hindi pa mawala tong inaalagaan kong tiyan, ewan ko nalang. Hahah! But this diet should begin with 3 glasses of smoothies as an alternative of your breakfast, lunch and dinner but if you're not yet used to it, maybe just trim down your usual food to half and then pair with the smoothie diet until you get used to having the smoothie diet only. 

Here is a simple recipe of my Mango Orange Smoothie.

2 ripe mangoes
1 orange or Ponkan 
Crushed ice
Sugar and milk if you wanted it sweet but have it in minimum amount only



If you go hungry at night time just grab some food to a minimum - just enough amount for your activities for the night. There you go guys... tomorrow, I'll share another recipe. Soon, I'll try some veggies also so that my diet will be healthier. Ayaw ko kasi talaga ng vegetable eh, baka if nakashake, ok na sakin. ^_^
