BTB: Sephora Plus Just Acia!

Last Sunday, I just broke my usual stuff of blogging and jogging. Instead, I gave in to the temptations of food and went out with my friends.

Audi, Carl, Shandz and I met up early morning to head to Mustafa Centre to accompany Marc's family to buy souvenirs before their flight back home. Marc wasn't able to come because there was an unfortunate event where he was held in SG immigration so he was not able to go here in SG with his family. Of course being the close friends of Marc, we decided to accompany his mom along with his brother and sisters to shop for souvenirs. By the way, Mustafa Centre is a 24-hour mall or better yet, a huge department store located near the Farrer Park MRT in Singapore. Inside are a lot of very cheap items like fragrances, clothes, chocolates and other food items. They bought a lot of chocolates there. Oh sweets! Tempting!

We arrived there around 11am and left an hour after. Continuing our souvenir shopping, we planned of having lunch first at Bugis Junction before we go and roam around Bugis Street. Bugis Street is our version of Divisoria where tiangges are side by side selling cheap key chains, I ♥ SG shirts, denim shorts, polos, dresses and a lot more! If you wouldn't mind the busy street shopping then this place is for you. Just be forewarned that a lot of people go there especially during weekends so if you could spare a weekday then that would be better. We finished around 4pm then we went with them to their hotel. Shortly after, we accompanied them to the nearest bus stop and waved goodbye as they rode the bus heading to the airport. As for us, we rode another bus going to church.

I felt kinda dizzy when we left the church maybe because the electric fan was faced to me the entire one-and-a-half-hour church service. But still, this did not stop us from roaming around the city. Noon lang ulit kami napadpad sa siyudad so we really savored the moment. We decided to go to Plaza Singapura and there we were entertained by the many make-up sets at Sephora. Jusko, one hour kaming nasa store and tried their eyeshadows, lipsticks, concealers and perfumes. As a girl bonding, we really enjoyed being there. Of course, Carl was just there sitting the entire time and waiting for us to be finished. ^_^ Alam mo na ang mga babae kapag napunta sa beauty retail stores, kulang pa ang one hour. Haha!

Here were tons of pampabeauty that were neatly arranged on the right side of the store. I love Sephora already!!!

The colorful eyeshadows..

And the lippies

My favorite is this N18 pink lipstick for S$20

And this 01 Lasting Concealer worth S$22
I tried the concealer and the lipstick. OMG! I fell in love with the pink lipstick but I only bought the concealer because both of them would be out of my budget already so I just took a picture of myself with the lipstick.

Oh diba? Pwede na ba? I'll surely come back and
ask Rhy to buy it for me.. :)

I even received this Sephora Loyalty Card when
I purchased my concealer.
After we were satisfied on what we bought, we went to Just Acia to have our dinner. It was the first time for Audi, Carl and I to eat at this affordable restaurant so we hurriedly went to the Dhoby Ghaut Station to try it out. The place was huge and there were so many people lining up and waiting to be seated. I observed that they were mostly students coming from the nearby university. Sunday na Sunday, andami pa rin estudyante. Because it was our first time, we gladly waited for our turn to be offered a table.

A few minutes later, we were escorted to the table at the back of the counter. The good thing about this restaurant is that all set meals include unlimited drinks (softdrinks, iced coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino) plus overflowing choice of ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, cookies n' cream, green tea, coffee, etc.). Andami, ansaya, ansarap!!!! ^_^ We were very excited to choose from the menu.

The food was definitely appealing in the pictures so we tried to have different orders so we can taste which of them were delicious. Being a lover of spicy foods, I ordered the Tom Yam pasta. Here were our meals that night.

Carl ordered this No. 55 Spaghetti & Ebi Fried with Homemade Tomato Sauce Set
for S$ 8.90

Audi ordered this No. 60 Creamy Chicken Spaghetti with Salmon Teriyaki
for S$10.50

Shandyl ordered this No. 54 Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Chicken Teriyaki Set
for S$ 8.90

I ordered this No. 56Creamy Tom Yam Chicken Spaghetti Set (Pretty Spciy)
for S$ 8.90

And we added this No. 58 Vegatable Spring Roll (Side Dish) for S$ 4.90

We all enjoyed the meals because they were really delicious. I overlooked the "Pretty Spicy" thing on the menu so my meal was really, really, really, really hot!!!! Good thing, their drinks were unlimited so I just soothed the spicy taste with I think, almost three cups of iced coffee and the ice cream also helped. Definitely, I would love to order it again and I also wanted to try the ramen set meals next time.

We talked about anything new, what was going on with our lives and some future plans we had in mind. OMG, how time flies very fast, We are already talking about the future - would-be family, houses and investments, marriage - mature topics na. I just love how we get to bond and talk about anything over delicious food. Of course, this day wouldn't be complete without taking our lovely photos.

Shandyl and I - the mother and daughter picture. Hehe! Shandyl is regarded as the mommy in the group because she knows pretty a lot of stuff and we always go to her when we have problems.

And Audi and Carl on the opposite side fo the table.
One of these days, don't forget to try the delicious food at Just Acia. Til here guys! Mwah *_*
