PD♥: The Hunt of the Perfect Anniversary Song

This week I have been quite busy on a very special thing - something to give Rhy on our anniversary this Sunday. OMG! Only four more days to go and I'm still confused on what to do! When it comes to romantic celebrations like this, my mind is clouded with a lot of things I want to do or give to him and it normally ends up with a vacation or a dinner date c/o him. Oops, Rhy will go here for vacation at the end of the month and that would mean I really need something to do! Maiba naman... I need to think!

Last year we had a pre-anniversary celebration here at Singapore and Malaysia before I started my job-hunting. We arrived here at Singapore March 11 and went to various tourist spots here in SG - Sentosa, Marina Bay, Vivo City. We spent two days enjoying our moments together at the Lion City. On the 13th of March we went for a day tour at Malaysia just to see the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and took our picture there. The next day, he went back already and it was the start of our long distance relationship.. And that was how we spent our fifth anniversary - with a romantic vacation but with a sad ending. Koreanovela lang. Haha! Here we were last year..

This year would be somewhat like that - him spending a vacation in SG but this time, a post-anniversary celebration will have to occur. Because a long weekend is coming in observance of the Holy Week, his family thought of having a 4-day vacation here at SG at the end of the month so we considered of having our anniversary celebration by then. As for me, I thought of something different. I wanted to give something on the anniversary day itself. Now, I'm facing a huge dilemma in looking for the perfect anniversary song for my special gift! We have our own favorite songs for each other but we don't have a specific theme song. Weird ba?

Last weekend, I've searched from an array of songs - from R&Bs to Mellow Songs to Pop Songs - but I am so confused on which one to use. Later did I realize that I have a cousin who has a great taste in music so I asked her to help me today. Hahaha! By saying that I'm sure she's pretty proud of herself when she reads this.

At first I listed more or less 40 songs. Oh diba? Ang sipag ko lang! Then I trimmed it down to 10 songs today with the help of my cousin. And then I chose one out of the 10 and I found one more in the internet. I'll see if I can combine the two. I love the beat and the lyrics of the two songs so I'll leave it to you guys to guess which among the songs below I am going to use for my gift. :) I'll be revealing them on the 24th so watch out for that special thing I'll give to Rhy.
