PD♥: Hong Kong (3D2N Itinerary) - 3rd and Last Day

Here it is guys.. the much awaited last day itinerary of our HK trip. (Much awaited kasi ang tagal ko maipublish.. lols!) And because it’s the last, we wanted it to be the best! Of course, our HK trip wouldn't be complete if we won't visit the famous Disneyland. Ever since I was a kid, I already dreamt of going to the castles of Disneyland. Mafeel ko man lang makaapak sa palasyo and see a prince and princess. And today, my dream came true! :)

Tired from yesterday's cable car tour, we slept for almost 9 hours or so. When we woke up, the first thing I did was to arrange the souvenir items we bought last night. Pinagkasya ko talaga sila sa mga bag namin so that we won't be charged with excess baggage. And also, I separated a bag for other pasalubong items that we are just going to buy that day.
Nov 13 (Tue)
10:00 AM - Went to the nearest Times Square to eat breakfast and shop for chocolates and local food. The name of their grocery store is City Super which can be found at the basement level of the mall. They have some local food and chocolates but not that cheap. We were looking for a version of Value Dollar like here in SG but we still need to go far. Because we are running out of time, we just picked some junk food from the best seller items, their version of dark coffee and some chocolates. We spent our remaining budget for pasalubong items and after that we went back to the hotel to check out.

11:45 AM - Went back to the hotel to arrange the items then checked out of the hotel and boarded the hotel's shuttle bus going to Hong Kong Station. The shuttle bus schedule from the hotel is 12:15PM.
12:50 PM - The driver was very prompt with the schedule because they have departure and arrival times to be followed. We arrived at HK station after 30 minutes. From the HK station we hopped in at the Tung Chung Line of the MTR. We alighted at Sunny Bay station after 20 minutes then waited for the Disneyland train. I was so excited to see their famous train with the Mickey Mouse windows. And after waiting for 10 minutes, the train arrived. The design of the train really brings back the childhood memories in you.
The Mickey Mouse windows of the train.
Even the train handles were Mickey Mouse-shaped. :)
1:10 PM - The ride in the Disneyland train was only 5-10 minutes. I was speechless inside the train because I was really amazed with the ambiance. I haven't even took a photo of us inside the train. When we reached the Disneyland Resort Station, we were very excited that I rushed out of the train, climbed the stairs and swiped our octopus card at the exit of the station. (Buti nalang, konti lang dala namin because I can still handle the weight of my bags kahit nagmamadali.) When we reached the entrance, of course all we did was to pose and take pictures. We're just so happy to be there. Below are my favorite shots.
Quick pose at the entrance before we head to the main entrance.

1:30 PM - Imagine 20 minutes of picture taking! Haha! We were just amazed with the place that we really got carried away taking pictures here and there. Good thing we have our stroller with us because I just put our camera there and took the pictures on timer mode. Buti nalang talaga may nakaisip magimbento ng timer mode. :) When we reached the gate of the attraction, we just gave our tickets to the guard, swiped them and off we go! Start na ng tour namin in this very kiddie-like place. By the way, it was not permitted to have bulky bags inside so we need to leave our baggage in the luggage deposit area. It was very expensive but we need to pay because we can't go in. I paid via credit card and it was PHP 988.00 for 3 luggages. Sayang rin yun! But still it was okay for us because it will be troublesome if we bring our luggages inside. You'll know why :)
Our tickets :)
Quick pose at the gate before going in.
When we got in, here is a beautiful garden full of flowers.
Oh and I love the one at the center
And because it was already the Christmas season,
we posed beside this very huge Christmas tree...
Popsy looking so small beside the
gifts on the Christmas tree.
We got hungry along the way so we decided to eat first before we continue to roam around. And look what we found!
We got to taste this fresh, delicious Mickey Mouse waffles. Yum!!!
And after eating, we took a picture with the castle as the background.
Moreover, as we were strolling, look who we found! She was very beautiful.
Tinkerbell!!!
Rhy could not resist posing with Tinkerbell
except for the asungot na nagbabantay. Fail shot!
We also got to take some quick pictures of other stuff in Adventureland.

After roaming around, we walked back to the center of the park where the parade will took place. It was a really great timing because we can see the parade before we go to the airport. The parade started 3:30PM. Below are some of the photos of the colorful and huge floats. Can you guess which is Rhy's favorite? How about my favorite? ^_^

People settling down and waiting for the parade to start

The first float - Jumbo - the flying elephant.

Second float - Mickey Mouse characters

Mickey Mouse!!! Children there were excited to see him.

Third float - Pooh and friends

Fourth float - Madagascar characters

Fifth float - Lion King cast

And the sixth one is Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell giving an "Oooh!!" pose

Seventh float - Lilo and Stitch

Eighth float - Toy Story (Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie)

Ninth float - Toy Story (Green Army Men)

Ohhh the one I love!!!! The last float - Disney Princesses
with the elegant Aurora of Sleeping Beauty waving her hand.

The beautiful Belle of the Beauty and the Beast

The charming Cinderella

And the very appealing Snow White
We went fast to the beginning of the float parade just to have some pictures taken with the float as the background and me hoping that I can have a shot with the Disney princesses.

Yes! I made it. It was far but still managed to have a shot! :)

And of course, Rhy's favorite Disney character.
Inabangan niya talaga si Woody!

Lastly, me with the Green Soldiers of Toy Story.

The show ended at around 4:20PM already. From there we hurriedly went to claim our luggage and ran back to the MTR station because my flight was 6:40 PM back to Singapore while Rhy's was still at 7:30PM so he didn't have a problem. We waited for the Disneyland train. It was the longest 10 minutes of my life, maybe because we were on a hurry. While waiting, we managed to get these photos.

We travelled back to Sunny Bay station for another 10 minutes. Then travelled again from Sunny Bay to Tsing Yi for 7 minutes and rode the MTR again for another 15 minutes via the Airport Express Line (got in at Tsing Yi Station and alighted at Airport Station).
5:00 PM - Arrived at the airport and hurriedly went to our respective check-in counters to avoid delay. Nahirapan ako huminga sa pagmamadali at pagtakbo! While waiting for our flights, we first ate at the kopitiam upstairs. So sad that we already need to part ways after we finished eating. We were on the opposite gates so we went on opposite ways. :( Chos! LDR na naman ang peg namin from here.
Sorry for my last post, I already updated that. The fare posted there should be HKD 150 for the entire vacation instead of the HKD 50 which was previously written.
And for the final part, here is the total expenses spent per person on our last day.
Breakfast at Times Square - HKD 35
Snacks at Disneyland - HKD 50
Disneyland Tickets - HKD 388
Luggage Deposit - PHP 988
Other items bought today is already included in the budget for souvenir items of HKD 500.
Airfare from HK to Manila - PHP 2400 via Cebu Pacific

Expenses per person today is only HKD 473 (PHP 2,530) plus the luggage deposit of PHP 988 and airfare of PHP 2,400 which amounts to more or less PHP 5,920 in total.

And that's about it! For the summary of all the expenses:

1st day - PHP 9,155 (including airport and travel tax coming from Clark and bus fare from Manila to Clark)
2nd day - PHP 1,775
3rd day - PHP 5,920
Additional PHP 2,665 for souvenir items
Hotel Stay - PHP 8,400 (1 room for 2 nights) so you can divide with your partner to make it PHP 4,200 / pax

Total of 23,715 per person. Actually an all-in budget of PHP 25,000 is already enough for a 3-day stay at HK.

There you go guys! Be sure to enjoy a vacation at Hong Kong. By the way, the best time to go is on the BER months so you can really feel the cold wind and shivering weather at HK.

Til here! Tata!
