I am very happy and blessed to have stepped on the late 20s range of age. I have been working for almost five years already but still no plans of what to do with my life. Yes! I can still say that I have not had enough yet of myself being single. I still wanted to enjoy my life being unmarried but of course I enjoy it best with my special someone who gives colors to my life. Diba? Who doesn't want a companion in these years of their life? Maybe I will be one of those people who will live by the saying, "Life really begins at 30."
Since I am born January 11 and my housemate, Benjamin, celebrates his birthday on the 28th of December, we agreed to have one celebration at home. I most normally enjoy my birthday at home, maybe here at SG lang pala, because you get to gather your friends at a place where you can do anything you want, just relax and be comfortable, no time limit and most importantly, you don't get to spend a lot! A simple dinner at the cheapest restaurant I know is around SGD 100.00 for a group of 8 at Makansutra but a Filipino-inspired, dine at home birthday celebration is only around SGD 80.00 for a group of 25 people already plus we get to choose what we wanted to eat and which to serve among the famous Filipino dish we missed back at home. . See the huge difference? That's why we opted for the typical luto-luto-sa-bahay type of birthday celebration.
And because my housemates were the great cooks in the house, they were the ones who cooked all the dishes served. Ambag-ambag nalang ginawa ko ^__^. In fairness, there were a lot of food in the table.
The party started around 7PM, the usual time for people to gather around. Ewan ko anong meron sa seven pee eem at jan halos nagsisidatingan ang mga tao. lols! We created a photo booth corner just for us take pictures on the wall. We put there balloons and the names of the birthday celebrants and here were the pictures that night.

After the photoshoot, we enjoyed the company of friends by playing the ultimate bonding game, Pinoy Henyo. In this game, you get to play by twos or in groups. Because we have some friends that belong in the same troop (previous colleagues and college friends), we divided ourselves into two groups - the ex-DMCI and the EWAF. The objective of this game is to guess the word in as fast as you can. The fastest to guess 10 mystery words will win. The setup of this game is that one member shall be sitting at the front of the group, holding the mystery word while showing the word to his/her groupmates. Remember, he/she should not see the word. The one in front will then ask some questions and the groupmates will only answer in YES or NO or MAYBE. The one in front will have to guess the word based on the clues he/she has asked from his/her groupmates. The time limit for this game is 1 minute and 30 seconds but you can extend/shorten it if you want. Apple has released an application which is a compilation of words and you can download it already at the Appstore. The name of the app is Party Flippo.
Like for instance:

| Ces will have to guess the word "Puno" which is the Tagalog translation of Tree |
Groupmates: No.
Ces: Bagay ba to? (Is this a thing?)
Groupmates: Maybe.
Ces: Nasa bahay ba to? (Can this be seen at home?)
And so forth, until Ces guesses the mystery word.
Here were some of our pictures while playing the game. You can see how funny it was and how excited we were to guess the words. You can never go wrong with this game especially during gathering with friends and colleagues.
